A cream spadix stands upright at the front of each one and turns yellow as it ages. The leaves are mid to deep green and glossy, heart-shaped with a pointed tip, on slim green stalks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003chr\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eGrowth and size\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eNew leaves and flower stems come up together from a central base, and Esudo tends to have several blooms open at once rather than one at a time. Each spathe keeps its colour for six to eight weeks before fading to green. Indoors it gets to around 35 to 45cm tall and a bit less across.
