A pale yellow spadix stands upright at the front of each spathe. The leaves are deep green, heart-shaped and semi-glossy, held on slender upright stalks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003chr\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eGrowth and size\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eNew leaves and flower stems rise together from a central base on long stalks, with a bloom appearing between every few leaves. Indoors it stays compact at around 30 to 35cm tall and about the same across.
