Shipping policy

Where we ship

We ship to residential and business addresses throughout New Zealand, both islands. We don't ship internationally. Live plants can't cross the border without export documentation we don't currently seek.

Rates

Standard nationwide delivery is $15. You'll see the rate at checkout before you pay.

When your order goes out

Plants are picked and packed the morning they ship. We dispatch Monday to Thursday. Orders placed Friday to Sunday go out on Monday.

Expect one to two working days for North Island delivery and two to three for the South Island. Rural addresses add a day.

How plants are packed

Each plant is secured at the pot so the root ball can't move, wrapped in a plastic sleeve to hold moisture, and boxed with the foliage protected. The soil is watered before packing, so your plant won't need water the moment it arrives.

Weather

Very cold snaps and heatwaves are hard on plants in transit. If conditions in your region look risky, we'll hold your order for a few days and email you instead of sending a plant into weather that will damage it.

When it arrives

Unbox your plant the day it arrives, even if you can't deal with it properly until later. Give it a few days in indirect light before repotting it or moving it to its final spot.
