Anthurium Whispering Love has upright heart-shaped spathes in green and white, each one marbled and streaked so no two are quite the same, with a bright yellow spadix standing at the front. The leaves are deep green, heart-shaped and semi-glossy, on slim upright stalks.
Growth & size
New leaves and flower stems come up together from a central base on long stalks, with a bloom turning up between every few leaves. The green and white spathes last for weeks and deepen in colour as they age rather than fading. Indoors it gets to around 40 to 50cm tall and about the same across. It flowers through most of the year in a warm room, with the heaviest run over the New Zealand growing season from October to April.
